THE TECHNICOLORS HEADLINE

"Fresh out of Phoenix, Arizona are The Technicolors, who released their debut album, Listener, in late 2012. They are the latest in a new wave of American rock bands, such as Portugal the Man, to capture the vibe of 90s era Britpop; however, what sets the Technicolors apart from these other bands is their garage and roots rock stamp, equally finding influence from acts like Oasis, The White Stripes, and Tom Petty." - ALTERNATIVE NATION

After playing to an adoring and packed house in their hometown of Phoenix with The Airborne Toxic Event, Britrock-inspired quartet, The Technicolors, are prepping for another electrifying run supporting the Psychedelic Furs.

The band will headline Garden Bowl on Sunday, September 15th

The Technicolors' debut full-length Listener came out last year and debuted in the top 200 on iTunes. Their sound has received comparisons to Wolfmother, Oasis, Jet, Tom Petty and the White Stripes. Shortly after the release, they were signed to the San Francisco Bay Area label Tallest Man Records and issued a Deluxe Version of Listener. Listener Deluxe features two bonus tracks, acoustic versions of "Sweet Time" and "Listener." Stripping down those two tracks for Listener Deluxe is a true testament to just how good their songwriting is. Strip away the amplifiers and electricity, and the songs are just as strong, taking on a whole new meaning. Listener Deluxe was released worldwide digitally and on Vinyl, the band's first ever vinyl recording. To celebrate Listener Deluxe, they embarked on a west coast tour supporting Austin rockers ...And You Will Know us By the Trail of Dead.
