 Adam's Birthday Show!
Patrick Davy and the Ghosts Album Release Show wsg The Handgrenades, Hounds Below and Ashleys $5

Alternative indie rock gods Patrick Davy & The Ghost! "I write, record, and perform music" says Patrick. And how! Watch their new music video, "The Joke", directed and edited by Chris Hafner. Shot on a Saturday in Detroit. A little too much fun..." Their bass player Adam can slay. • The HG's have a kind of Walkmen, French Kicks, early Coldplay, Brit-pop, NYC-hipster-rock…ah, fuck it. They sound like a lot of really awesome bands combined, and their live cover of the Rolling Stones' "The Last Time"…is pretty kick ass. So yeah, go see 'em..." - Detour.
The Hounds Below is lead vocalist Jason Stollsteimer (of the Von Bondies), guitarist Skye Thrasher and bassist... Gjon Gjavelini. The band was originally formed in 2008 after Stollsteimer wrote a group of songs dealing with a previously unexplored emotional territory. The bands songs encompass a refreshing yet nostalgic aesthetic, creating a distinct sound that is captured in every reverberating note - think Roy Orbison meets Modest Mouse. Stollsteimer's genre-defying songs transition effortlessly through a variety of musical styles. From the heart-aching 'Crawling Back to You' to the hauntingly beautiful 'Cumberland's Crumblin,' each song showcases the bands solid song-writing and versatile vocal capabilities.
The Ashleys: "It's dirty and rough but ultimately charming. The Detroit duo provide a loud and obnoxious debut EP with enough volume to force people to listen. Dirty but kind of romantic." - cdbaby.com.
