UPCOMING: HEDLEY - Monday Oct 4th @ Crofoot Pontiac

HEDLEY ANNOUNCE U.S. HEADLINE TOUR IN SUPPORT OF NEW RELEASE THE SHOW MUST GO ALBUM, DUE OCTOBER 12th

Multi-platinum Canadian band Hedley – who recently added another three MuchMusic Video Awards to their tally, including Video of the Year for their single "Perfect" – will be hitting the road in support of their October 12th U.S. release of their third studio album, THE SHOW MUST GO. Kicking off October 4th in Detroit, MI, Hedley will take their melodic, celebratory rock on the road with a headline tour across the U.S. (Tour dates below). Fans can also log into to http://www.headlyonline.com/ for video updates from the band's Canadian arena tour throughout September, including messages to each market on the October U.S. tour!

THE SHOW MUST GO is preceded by "Perfect," Hedley's first official U.S. single release, which won two MMVA's in June (including Video Of The Year), impacted at radio on July 26th. "Perfect" became Hedley's 10th consecutive #1 video at MuchMusic earlier this year, a new record for a domestic artist at the video channel. The piano-based power ballad has received more than 1.5 million views at YouTube, and can also be seen on top-rated music site VEVO, as well as the band's website www.hedleyonline.com . The band also recently completed a sold-out Canadian arena tour, with US friends Boys Like Girls as direct support.

Hedley's second album, Famous Last Words broke platinum 10 days after its release in October 2007. The lead track, "She's So Sorry" (which won the MuchLOUD Best Rock Video Award), was followed by more Top 5 hits: "For the Nights I Can't Remember," "Never Too Late," and "Old School," all of which were #1 at MuchMusic (with the exception of Old School which had no video). "For the Nights I Can't Remember" swept the MMVAs that year, winning Best Video, Best Cinematography, and Best Director. At the Canadian Radio Music Awards, "For the Nights I Can't Remember" won the Fans Choice Award, Song Of The Year, and the Chart Topper Award.

"The American people are about to make a new best friend" says Hoggard, who came to prominence as a finalist in the 2004 season of CTV's Canadian Idol on a bet, and later asked fans to vote him off when it became apparent that he might win. The front man puts the credit for Hedley's success right where it belongs: "Much of what we've accomplished has been based on the relationship we've established with our fans. They've progressed and grown right alongside us." For further information go to http://www.hedleyonline.com/
