Incredible views of downtown Detroit and Windsor's city scape, the Ambassador bridge and the big lake freighters going by. Detroits beautiful National Historic Belle Isle park and site of the Detroit Grand Prix is now home to what will be the states premiere international Olympic distance triathlon. An entirely closed course to top it off. Come and ride on the Grand Prix course closed to traffic. Flat and fast it could be one of the fastest Olympic and Sprint distance courses in the U.S. There wll be an elite division for this event. The 2007 edition of the Motor City Triathlon will be part of the Ontario Triathon Series.

"June 16 HarleyFest WRIF, Miller Life and Motor City Harley-Davidson will once again join together to celebrate the 9th annual HarleyFest benefiting the Rainbow Connection. Over 25,000 metro Detroiters will enjoy a full day of music, bikes and more while raising money for a great cause. The "Rock N Roll Ride for Kids" will leave Motor City Harley Davidson in Farmington Hills and ride to Freedom Hill arriving at 11 a.m. sharp. Last year's ride drew some 1,000 participants spanning several miles. The rest of the day includes live music on stage featuring some of Detroit's hottest local bands, a Best of Bike show, vendor village, live auctions and a day long broadcast by WRIF. Previously qualified WRIF winners will gather at 3 p.m. to hear who is the winner of the ultimate Harley-Davidson prize, a 2007 1200XL Custom Harley-Davidson Sportster and a two year lease on a Ford F-150XLT!! The 12th Annual Arab International Festival is a free, family-centered cultural celebration that will attract over 300,000 people from Michigan, the Midwest, and Canada. We invited you to be entertained by live musical acts-both local and international, 30 international food booths, coffee cup readings, henna, arts and crafts, a children’s tent, artisans, Arab merchandise, and a giant old-fashioned Ferris wheel that overlooks East Dearborn. The hours of the festival have been extended this year! More than a half mile of Schaefer Road in Dearborn will be transformed into the largest Arab international festival in the nation.
